Lingua Franca Avni Chardonnay is a Willamette Valley white wine from Oregon, crafted by one of the region's most acclaimed producers. Co-founded in 2015 by Master Sommelier Larry Stone and legendary Burgundian winemaker Dominique Lafon, Lingua Franca focuses on organic and regenerative farming practices across multiple Willamette Valley sub-appellations including Eola-Amity Hills, Chehalem Mountains, Yamhill-Carlton, and Van Duzer Corridor.

The 2022 vintage is whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented with wild yeast, undergoing spontaneous primary and malolactic fermentations. It is aged for 11 months sur lie in a combination of 26% new 600-liter puncheons and 74% neutral large wooden casks and old French oak, followed by an additional six months in closed tanks with its lees before bottling. The wine opens with graceful layers of mineral, citrus, white flowers, and spice on the nose, while the palate is vibrant and beautifully balanced with flavors of lemon peel, green apple, and river stone, finishing clean and lingering. Alcohol content is 13%.
