Girlan Pinot Grigio is a crisp, elegant white wine from Cantina Girlan, a historic cooperative winery founded in 1923 in the village of Girlan in Alto Adige, northern Italy. The wine carries the Alto Adige DOC classification and is produced from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes grown on hillside vineyards in the Oltradige area at altitudes of 400 to 500 meters above sea level.

The vineyards are situated on mineral-rich soils formed by ice age sedimentation and volcanic porphyry, which lend the wine its characteristic freshness and complexity. Grapes are hand-harvested and placed in small containers to protect them from excess pressure. Winemaking involves gentle pressing, natural sedimentation clarification, and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on the fine lees to develop texture and aromatic depth.

The wine has a soft, delicate character with notes of nectarine, orchard fruit, and minerality. It is best served at 10–12°C and pairs well with asparagus, fish, and delicate meats. Alcohol content is approximately 13% ABV with a residual sugar of 1.2 g/l and an aging potential of up to 3 years. Cantina Girlan is committed to sustainability, using solar panels to reduce energy consumption by up to 50% and employing water-saving drip irrigation in the vineyards.
