Therra is a Super Tuscan red wine produced by Podernuovo a Palazzone, an estate founded by Giovanni Bulgari on a revitalized 64-acre vineyard in the remote foothills of Siena, Tuscany, Italy. The wine is an IGT Toscana Rosso, a classification that allows the blending of international varieties with indigenous Tuscan grapes.

The blend combines Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, grown on clay-silty soils and harvested manually in September. Grapes are sorted mechanically after harvest, then undergo maceration on the skins for 15–25 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for 10 months in 3,000-liter oak barrels and an additional 6 months in bottle before release. Alcohol content is 13%.

In the glass, Therra shows an intense, luminous ruby red color. The nose offers aromas of blueberry and berry jam with hints of sweet spice and aromatic herbs, with subtle toasted and smoky notes on the finish. On the palate, lively tannins are supported by juicy fruit, resulting in a long and persistent wine. Recent vintages have received 93–94 points from James Suckling.
