Nikolaihof Zwickl is an unfiltered, unfined Grüner Veltliner white wine from the Wachau region of Austria, produced by one of the country's oldest and most celebrated wine estates. Nikolaihof has roots tracing back nearly 2,000 years to the Roman era, with the Saahs family operating the estate since 1894. The winery has practiced biodynamic farming since 1971 and holds Demeter certification.

The "Zwickl" name is inspired by the concept of cloudy, unfiltered beer, reflecting the wine's natural, unfiltered character. Grapes are sourced from various sites near Mautern and Stein on both banks of the Danube, farmed using certified biodynamic practices. The wine is fermented slowly in stainless steel, preserving its natural freshness and yeasty complexity. Because it is unfiltered, sediment may settle in the bottle — pouring carefully yields a clear wine from the top, or shaking produces a characteristically cloudy, full-flavored glass.

Tasting notes highlight aromas of grapefruit, chopped herbs, olives, apple fruit, and subtle butter, with a lightly salty, savory palate, white pepper notions, and a snappy, food-friendly finish. The wine is bone-dry with good acidity and is both age-worthy and highly food-friendly. It has earned scores of 90–93 points from critics including James Suckling, Vinous, and VinePair. Sold in cases of 12 x 750ML bottles.
