Produced by Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, this 94-proof (47% ABV) bourbon is crafted from a hand-selected mingling of barrels aged 8 to 12 years, exclusively drawn from the middle to upper floors of traditional metal-clad rickhouses. Elijah Craig is named after the Reverend Elijah Craig, widely credited as "The Father of Bourbon" for his pioneering use of charred oak barrels.

Every barrel used in this expression is aged in Level 3 charred new American oak barrels, a process that releases caramelized sugars, vanillin, wood smoke, and spice compounds that define the bourbon's signature flavor profile. Each small batch is limited to a dumping of 70 barrels or fewer, ensuring consistency and quality in every bottle.
