El Mexicano Cotija Polvo Granulado is a semi-hard aged cheese with a strong salty flavor, known as the "Parmesan of Mexico." This granulated cheese is made from cultured pasteurized USDA grade A part-skim milk from cows not treated with rBST, sea salt, and enzymes. The cheese is aged under controlled environment for flavor enhancement, resulting in a dry and granular texture with a salty and sharp flavor similar to Parmesan cheese.

Great as a topping for corn on the cob, guacamole, beans, tostadas, sopes, tacos, or mixed into salad dressing or soup. Can be grated, crumbled or sliced, and pan fries beautifully to a golden crisp.
