Pagodes de Cos is the distinguished second wine of Château Cos d'Estournel, one of Bordeaux's most celebrated estates and a classified Second Growth in Saint-Estèphe. Sourced exclusively from the estate's Saint-Estèphe vineyards in the Médoc, this red Bordeaux blend is crafted from vines averaging forty years in age, delivering remarkable depth and complexity in every vintage.

The 2020 vintage is composed of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot, harvested September 10–24 at a yield of 39 hectoliters per hectare. The wine is aged in 30% new French oak barrels at an elegant 13.28% alcohol, with a pH of 3.85 contributing to its lively, fresh character.

On the nose, the wine reveals dark fruit aromas of black cherry, boysenberry, and warm cassis, accented by notes of graphite, tobacco leaf, black truffle, and bouquet garni. The palate is medium to full-bodied with silky, well-integrated tannins, crunchy dark fruit flavors, dried herb accents, and a long, vibrant finish. Major critics have awarded scores of 91–94 points, with consensus that short-term cellaring will reward over the next 10–20 years.
