Maison Louis Latour Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a classic red Burgundy from one of France's most respected and historic négociant houses, founded in 1797 in Beaune. This wine is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from vineyards across the Bourgogne appellation, with an average vine age of 25 years growing in clay and limestone soils. Grapes are hand-picked and vinified traditionally in open vats, then aged 10 to 12 months in stainless steel vats to preserve fresh fruit character. Sold in a case of 6 x 750ml bottles.
This wine displays a dark ruby color with a discreet nose of red fruit and spices. On the palate it is round and fresh, well-balanced, with aromas of liquorice and blackcurrant. Classic Burgundy character with bright acidity and gentle tannins, it expresses the hallmark elegance and finesse of the region. Cellaring potential of 2 to 3 years; best served at 14–15°C. Pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roast chicken, duck, salmon, and mature cheeses. The 2020 vintage received 92/100 from Wine Enthusiast.
