Secret Indulgence Le Duc Noir is a Pinot Noir sourced from a selection of vineyard sites along California's Sonoma Coast, one of the state's most prized appellations for cool-climate red wines. Produced by Boisset Collection, this wine is aged in 15% new French oak, lending subtle structure while allowing the fruit to remain expressive and vibrant.
The wine pours a deep ruby-purple in the glass, with a perfumed, inviting nose of ripe dark cherry, red plum, fresh wild blackberries, and clove. On the palate, flavors of crushed wild blackberries and Bing cherries are complemented by dried flowers and fragrant earth, with an elegant, medium-bodied texture and grippy tannins that point to excellent aging potential. The Sonoma Coast's proximity to the Pacific Ocean, with its cooling fog and marine breezes, delivers the hallmark brightness and acidity that make this an expressive, food-friendly Pinot Noir.
The Le Duc Noir has earned recognition at multiple competitions, including a Silver medal at the Sommeliers Choice Awards and a Silver medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
