Gruet Pinot Noir is a still red wine produced by Gruet Winery, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Gruet Winery was founded in 1984 by the Gruet family, who brought their winemaking heritage from their Champagne house in Bethon, France. While the winery is best known for its méthode champenoise sparkling wines, it also produces still varietal wines including this Pinot Noir.
New Mexico's high desert vineyards provide an ideal terroir for Pinot Noir, with warm days and cool nights that allow the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining natural acidity. The sandy and loamy soils concentrate flavors and add mineral complexity. The result is a light-bodied red wine with characteristic Pinot Noir elegance, typically showing red fruit aromas and a smooth, refined finish.
This item is sold as a case of 12 bottles (12 x 750ML).
