L'Esprit de Chevalier is the prestigious second wine of Domaine de Chevalier, one of the great Crus Classés estates of Bordeaux. Produced in the Pessac-Léognan appellation south of Bordeaux, this 750ML red wine is crafted from a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, sourced from the estate's 60 hectares of vines planted on a gravel terroir with clay-gravelly subsoils.

The wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, with one-third new oak, imparting complexity while preserving the fruit's natural vibrancy. It presents a deep ruby-red color, nearly black at the center. The nose is expressive and aromatic, showcasing black fruits — blueberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, and cherry — alongside spicy, peppery notes and mineral graphite nuances. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and fleshy with elegant, fine tannins and a creamy texture balanced by fresh acidity and a long, persistent finish.
