Domaine Durup (Jean Durup Père et Fils) is one of the largest and most prestigious estates in the Chablis wine region of Burgundy, France. Their Petit Chablis is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the Petit Chablis AOC appellation, the entry-level tier of the celebrated Chablis classification, and is vinified to showcase the terroir's characteristic freshness and mineral purity. The estate, led by the Durup family, is headquartered at Château de Maligny and manages over 180 hectares of vines across several Chablis appellations.
This crisp, dry white wine opens with aromas of citrus, green apple, lime, and a distinctive flinty minerality that defines the Chablis style. On the palate it is light-to-medium bodied with lively acidity, a clean attack, and a refreshing finish. Alcohol content is approximately 12.5% by volume. Contains sulfites.
Domaine Durup Petit Chablis pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, and other seafood, as well as rich fish such as salmon and tuna. It is equally at home alongside pork dishes, goat cheese, and mild soft cheeses. Sold in a case of 12 x 750ml bottles.
