Qui Platinum Extra Añejo is the world's first platinum extra añejo tequila, crafted from 100% Blue Agave grown in the highest region of the Los Altos Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Under the direction of master distiller Miguel Cedeno, the agave piñas are hand-harvested, split, and roasted for four days in artisanal clay ovens, which softens the fibers and caramelizes their natural sugars.

The tequila is aged for over three and a half years in hand-selected American whiskey and French Bordeaux barrels, developing signature hazelnut, vanilla, and butterscotch characteristics. Following aging, Qui undergoes a proprietary filtration process and a unique third distillation, creating an extra añejo with all the flavor and character of traditional aged tequila but without the typical golden color.

This award-winning tequila is incredibly smooth with a medium body featuring notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and a hint of oak. It won the Gold Medal at the 2013 Spirits of the Americas Competition as the best extra añejo tequila judged. Qui is additive-free and represents the heart of the distillate, with the name derived from the heart of the word te-QUI-la.
