Clos du Val Red Blend is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based Bordeaux-style red blend from the historic Clos du Val winery, founded in 1972 in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. The wine carries a California appellation and reflects the winery's half-century tradition of crafting elegant, blended expressions inspired by Bordeaux.

On the nose, expressive aromas of plum, cherry, and cassis leap from the glass with hints of cedar and clove, complemented by ripe dark currant fruit, roasted coffee bean, and French oak spice. On the palate the wine is soft and well-rounded with vibrant acidity and velvety tannins. Notes of cranberry, pomegranate, dark chocolate, and violet are followed by a long, smooth finish.

This 750ml bottle is sold at Costco in cases of 12. It pairs well with grilled meats, roasted lamb, pasta with red sauce, and aged cheeses. Serve at 60–65°F.
