The Macallan Distil Your World Mexico City Edition is a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 48% ABV, created in collaboration with the brothers behind the Michelin-starred El Celler de Can Roca restaurant. It is the first release in The Macallan's "Distil Your World" series, each of which celebrates a different global city and its culture.

This expression is inspired by Mexico's Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival, a vibrant celebration that blends creativity, artistry, and tradition. The distinctive pink packaging pays homage to the colors and spirit of the festival, evoking the marigold-filled altars and joyful remembrance central to the holiday.

On the nose, the whisky opens with sugared pan de muerto bread and creamy vanilla. The palate delivers intense sweetness layered with orange oil and rich, chocolatey Mexican mole alongside charred pineapple. The finish is delicate and lingering, with notes of charred coals and subtle spice. Presented in a 700ml bottle.
