Torrevento Passione Reale Appassimento is a rich Italian red wine from Puglia, produced using the traditional appassimento method — a light raisining of the grapes that concentrates sugars and aromas for greater intensity and complexity. Made from a blend of Primitivo and Nero di Troia, two of Puglia's most celebrated indigenous varieties, this wine carries 13% alcohol by volume and is crafted by Torrevento, a winery founded in 1948 with deep roots in southern Italy.

The wine presents a deep ruby red color with purple glints when young, evolving toward garnet with age. The nose is intense, full, and fragrant with notes of ripe plum and dark cherry, sweet spices, and a light touch of vanilla. On the palate it is balanced, full-bodied, and enveloping, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a long, pleasantly persistent finish.

Pairs beautifully with roasted meats, braised lamb, red meat dishes, hearty pasta, and aged cheeses. Contains sulfites.
