Domaine du Clos des Poulettes 'En Beauregard' is a 100% Chardonnay white Burgundy sourced from the Beauregard vineyard parcel within the Côte de Nuits-Villages appellation in Burgundy, France. The Côte de Nuits, historically celebrated for its grand red wines, has increasingly gained recognition for producing elegant and refined white wines, and this bottling exemplifies that transition.

Domaine du Clos des Poulettes is a family-run, non-negociant estate farming 16 hectares in the Côte de Nuits. Under the direction of Hélène Michaut-Gaudeul, the domaine blends modern winemaking techniques with ancestral know-how, producing wines that regularly earn medals in France and abroad and are prized for their ageing potential. The Chardonnay is aged on its lees with periodic stirring (bâtonnage), a technique that imparts richness, complexity, and textural roundness to the wine.

The wine is dry and medium-bodied with medium acidity and a creamy texture. On the palate it shows bright yellow apple fruit with a pleasant nuttiness and a clean, direct attack. It pairs excellently with fish, shellfish, poultry dishes, and strong cheeses, and is equally enjoyable as an aperitif. Each bottle is 750ml with 13% alcohol by volume, and the wine is currently at peak maturity.
