A case of six 750ml bottles of Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine Rossignol-Cornu et Fils, a historic family estate in Volnay, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, with roots stretching back to 1840.

The domaine was created through the union of two storied Burgundian families: the Rossignol family, longtime growers in Volnay whose vineyards span Volnay, Pommard, and Meursault, and the Cornu family, whose legacy brought holdings in Pernand-Vergelesses. Didier Rossignol has led the estate since 1989, with his son Alexandre now carrying on the tradition. The vineyards average over 40 years of vine age, and each parcel is farmed according to its own denomination with a reasoned, terroir-focused approach.

This Bourgogne Chardonnay — drawn from the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune appellation — is crafted in the classic white Burgundy style from 100% Chardonnay. It offers aromas of lemon peel and ripe apple with a focused, mineral-driven palate. Wines from the estate are aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months depending on the appellation before being bottled at the property. An approachable and versatile white Burgundy well suited to pairing with fish, poultry, and soft cheeses.
