Zaha Cabernet Franc is a premium red wine from Bodega TeHo, produced in the Paraje Altamira sub-zone of the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is crafted by co-winemakers and co-owners Alejandro "Colo" Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach, who have earned a reputation for producing expressive, terroir-driven wines from this high-altitude region. "ZaHa" means "heart" in the Huarpe language, reflecting a deep connection to the Andean landscape.
The wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc sourced from a single hectare of vines planted on stony, calcium carbonate-rich soils at approximately 4,000 feet elevation. The Altamira zone is renowned for delivering wines of impressive concentration and complexity, and this bottling showcases the variety's signature profile: a subtle, slightly reticent nose with fresh herbal notes layered over ripe black fruits and hints of spice. On the palate, grainy, fine-grained tannins frame vibrant acidity and supple, concentrated fruit flavors, resulting in a structured yet elegant wine with excellent aging potential.
