Bramante Cosimi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a premium Italian red wine produced by winemaker Rodolfo Cosimi at the Il Poggiolo estate, located in a prime position south of the town of Montalcino in Tuscany. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, this bold and structured wine is aged for two years in large French oak casks before additional bottle aging.

The wine presents a deep ruby hue with expressive aromas of macerated cherries, dried rose petals, crushed herbs, sweet pipe tobacco, and cedar. On the palate, it delivers ripe red berries, blood plum, and orange zest interlaced with savory undertones of leather, fennel seed, and forest floor. Fine yet persistent tannins provide structure without aggression, while vibrant acidity keeps the wine lifted and precise through a long, spiced finish. ABV is approximately 14%.

This Brunello di Montalcino has received strong critical acclaim, including 95 points from James Suckling for the 2019 vintage and multiple Mundus Vini Gold awards. It pairs well with beef, venison, hard cheese, cured meats, and tomato-based pasta dishes. The wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for extended aging.
