Glenmorangie Calvados Cask Finish is a rare 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from the Scottish Highlands, representing the fifth release in Glenmorangie's Barrel Select series — a collection of small-batch expressions that explores the flavors unlocked by different cask finishes. This is Glenmorangie's first whisky ever finished in French Calvados casks, making it a uniquely fruity and floral bottling.

Crafted under the direction of Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's acclaimed Director of Whisky Creation, this whisky first aged for over 10 years in American white oak bourbon casks to develop the distillery's signature elegant style. It was then transferred into casks that had held Calvados du Pays d'Auge from Normandy, France for 20 years, imparting layers of orchard fruit character and delicate floral nuance. The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, allowing its full complexity to shine.

On the nose, the whisky opens with baked apples, pears, vanilla, and almond, with floral notes of narcissus, jasmine, and heather honey emerging with water. On the palate, the mouthfeel is oily and spicy, giving way to baked pears, toffee apple, almond marzipan, star anise, chocolate praline, lemon balsam, and a touch of eucalyptus. The finish is long, lingering, and slightly cooling in nature. Best enjoyed neat, with a splash of water, or over 2–3 large ice cubes.
