Iron Fish Small Batch Toasted French Oak Bourbon Whiskey is a craft spirit from Iron Fish Distillery, Michigan's first farm-based distillery since Prohibition. Located in Thompsonville along the Betsie River watershed, Iron Fish operates on a fully functioning farm where they grow and harvest their own grain, then mill, mash, ferment, distill, and barrel-age all on site.

This small batch bourbon is finished in toasted French oak barrels, a process that imparts rich layers of vanilla, caramel, and warm baking spice with a refined oak character. French oak is prized in barrel finishing for its tighter grain and subtler tannin structure compared to American oak, lending elegance and complexity to the whiskey.
