Saracina Sauvignon Blanc from Mendocino County is a crisp, aromatic white wine crafted at Saracina Vineyards in Northern California. Sourced from several organically farmed vineyard sites in Mendocino County, with a splash of the aromatic Sauvignon Musqué variant, this wine showcases the best of the region.
Grapes are hand-picked and whole cluster pressed, then barrel fermented with native yeast in neutral Burgundian barrels. The wine undergoes no malolactic fermentation, preserving its bright natural acidity. It rests on the lees for four months with two months of bâtonnage, adding texture and complexity.
The wine pours a clear platinum color with aromas of pineapple, mango, citrus blossom, passionfruit, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is rich and zesty with flavors of Golden Delicious apple, Meyer lemon cream, bruléed orange slices, and chalky minerality, finishing long and mouthwatering. Sold in a standard 750ML bottle.
