The Schumacher Electric SEV1600HW is a hardwired Level 2 EV charging station delivering up to 50 amps at 208V/240V AC, providing up to 12.0kW of charging power — up to 8x faster than a standard Level 1 home charger. It is compatible with virtually all North American electric vehicles via a universal SAE-J1772 connector and includes a generous 25-foot charging cable.

The unit features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to monitor charging status and schedule charging sessions through the SchuPower companion app. Amperage output is configurable during installation (16A, 24A, 32A, 40A, 48A, or 50A) to match your electrical panel's capacity. The charging gun is lockable and ergonomic, and the flexible cable cradle provides integrated cord management with a low-profile design.

Installation requires hardwiring by a licensed electrician. The enclosure carries a 3R raintight rating (IP66), making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
