Cantine Povero Langhe Nebbiolo is a Piedmontese red wine from the Langhe DOC appellation in northwestern Italy. It originates from vineyards on the gentle Piedmontese hills, where ideal exposure, microclimate, and rich soils allow the Nebbiolo grape to achieve perfect balance and elegance. A delicate maturation process preserves the purity of the fruit, enhancing the typical character of Nebbiolo without overwhelming it.
In the glass, Langhe Nebbiolo shows a bright garnet-red color. Its aromatic profile combines notes of cherry, raspberry, and violet, accompanied by a subtle spicy nuance. On the palate, it is harmonious and smooth, with fine, well-integrated tannins that fully express the distinctive identity of Nebbiolo DOC. This is an approachable and immediate expression of Piedmontese Nebbiolo — enjoyable, balanced, and deeply rooted in its territory.
Cantine Povero is a family-owned winery in the heart of Piedmont with roots dating back to 1837. The estate cultivates 50 hectares across Roero, Langhe, and Monferrato, combining deep respect for the land with a commitment to sustainable, organic viticulture.
