Scopone Toscana Rosso is a Super Tuscan red blend from Fattoria Scopone, an estate in Montalcino, in the Siena province of Tuscany, Italy. The wine is bottled under the Toscana IGT appellation — the classification used for Super Tuscans, wines that combine traditional Italian varieties with international grapes outside the constraints of stricter DOC or DOCG rules.

The blend is anchored by approximately 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by 30% Merlot and Syrah, and rounded out with 20% Sangiovese. The wine has earned 93 points from James Suckling and is praised for its good depth of aromas, showing dark chocolate, blackberries, and roasted spices, with a touch of cigar box and tobacco on the nose. On the palate it is full-bodied and firmly structured, with tight, powerful tannins and a savory freshness and dusty minerality that reflects the Montalcino terroir.

This wine benefits from at least 60 to 90 minutes of decanting before serving. It pairs well with grilled and braised red meats, lamb, aged cheeses, and rich pasta dishes.
