Fishwife Smoked Rainbow Trout is a premium tinned seafood featuring sustainably raised trout that is caramelized on the outside, buttery and flaky on the inside, with a smoky, savory flavor and a subtle hint of sweetness. This product is the result of two years of research and development to create the most delicious, sustainable trout possible.
The rainbow trout is expertly raised on an ASC-certified sustainable farm in Denmark's countryside, fed a GMO-free, sustainable, nutrient-rich diet. The fish is slow-smoked in small batches over beechwood and hand-packed in olive oil at a micro-cannery outside of Copenhagen. The cans are BPA-free. Each pack contains three 3.7-ounce tins.
Serving suggestions include stirring into lemony pasta, making smoked trout dip with potato chips, or adding to a savory sandwich.
