Blason d'Issan is the acclaimed second wine of Château d'Issan, one of Margaux's historic Grand Cru Classé estates in Bordeaux, France. The 2022 vintage is a blend of 55% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Petit Verdot, aged 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels, one-third of which are new.

The wine displays a deep garnet-purple color with aromas of sweet blackberries, violets, loamy soil, and cigar wrapper. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with velvety, silky tannins, a lush texture, and a zesty, flavorful finish. Approachable upon release but expected to develop further over two to five years of cellaring.

Critically acclaimed across major publications, the 2022 Blason d'Issan received 94 points from James Suckling, 92 points from Decanter, and 91 points from Wine Advocate, Jeb Dunnuck, and The Wine Independent.
