Château Chauvin 2022 is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé red wine from Bordeaux, France. This prestigious estate has a history dating back to the 1500s and has been a Grand Cru Classé since 1955. The vineyard is planted to 66% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon on sand, gravel, clay, and iron soil in the northwest portion of Saint-Émilion. The 2022 vintage has been described as the best vintage of Château Chauvin ever produced, featuring a floral perfume with a medium-bodied wine loaded with silky-textured black raspberries, cherries, licorice, and cocoa.

The wine is aged in 50% to 70% new French oak barrels for 15 to 18 months. It displays a strong floral character that moves to black raspberry, espresso, and earthy notes. The palate shows lushness in the fruits, freshness in the mid-palate, and a salty, crushed stone character in the finish.
