Château Figeac 2022 is a landmark Bordeaux red blend from Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, produced by one of the Right Bank's most storied estates. In 2022, Château Figeac was elevated to Premier Grand Cru Classé A status — the highest tier in the Saint-Émilion classification — cementing its place among the finest wines in Bordeaux. The estate is situated on the edge of the Pomerol border and is distinguished by its gravel soils over blue clay and iron-rich subsoils, which give Figeac its signature freshness and structure.

The 2022 vintage is a blend of approximately 35% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, and 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, reflecting Figeac's rare commitment to high Cabernet proportions on the Right Bank. Vinification took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by aging in 100% new French oak barrels for 18 to 20 months. The wine offers aromas of raspberries, cassis, iris, forest floor, cigar wrapper, and pencil lead, with a medium to full-bodied palate of polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long mineral finish.
