Château Léoville Poyferré Saint-Julien 2022 is a red Bordeaux blend from one of the most celebrated estates in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, France. Classified as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé (Second Growth) in the historic 1855 Classification of Bordeaux, the estate has been owned by the Cuvelier family since 1920. The 2022 vintage is widely regarded as one of the greatest in the property's history, earning 100-point scores from leading critics.

The wine is composed of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot, aged for 18 to 20 months in 80% new French oak barrels. It presents a dense, glass-staining purple color with an expressive bouquet of crème de cassis, graphite, dark chocolate, scorched earth, and violets. On the palate it is full-bodied with extravagant fruit concentration, beautifully integrated oak and tannins, and a seamless, long finish. Despite showing beautifully young, the wine has the structure to evolve gracefully for 30 years or more.
