Château Lynch-Bages 2022 is a Fifth Growth (5ème Grand Cru Classé) Bordeaux from the prestigious Pauillac appellation on the Left Bank. This celebrated estate, owned by the Cazes family since before World War II, spans 100 hectares and operates a state-of-the-art gravity-flow winery renovated in 2017.

The 2022 vintage is a blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in 75% new oak barrels. It presents an inky purple hue with aromatics of dark currants, smoke, tobacco, lead pencil, and crushed stone. Full-bodied and powerful with dense, layered concentration, velvety tannins, and a rare balance of power and elegance. Harvest took place between September 12 and September 24.

This wine has received exceptional critical acclaim, including 99 points from Jeb Dunnuck, 97 from Jane Anson, 97 from Decanter, and 96 from Neal Martin at Vinous. Best enjoyed between 2035 and 2075, it rewards patience with decades of cellar aging potential.
