Château Margaux is one of the world's most revered estates, holding the distinction of Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification — a rank shared with only four other châteaux. This offering features the celebrated 2022 vintage of the Grand Vin, sourced from the estate's 82-hectare Left Bank vineyard in the Margaux appellation, where vines average 35 years of age. The extraordinary dry summer of 2022 produced Cabernet Sauvignon berries nearly 35% smaller than a normal year, yielding exceptional concentration and some of the lowest yields since 2013. The blend is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, aged in French oak barrels at 14.5% alcohol by volume.

The 2022 Grand Vin expresses a complex aromatic profile of dark fruits — cassis, blackberry, and plum — layered with earthy notes of leather, tobacco, and cedar, along with delicate floral hints of violet and rose petal. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with silky, refined tannins and remarkable freshness that defines the signature elegance of the Margaux style. Serving temperature is recommended between 16°C and 18°C. Pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, poultry, and game.
