Château Tour Saint Christophe is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé estate situated at the frontier of Saint-Émilion and Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes in Bordeaux, France. Acquired by Peter Kwok and his daughter Karen in 2012, the estate spans 20 hectares planted on distinctive narrow terraces of clay-limestone soil along the hillside of Cassevert. After eleven years of investment and viticultural work, the château was officially elevated from Saint-Émilion Grand Cru to Grand Cru Classé in the 2022 classification — the first revision in a decade.
The 2022 vintage is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels with 30–40% new oak. The wine opens with a sensual bouquet of black cherries, cassis, and vanilla, with notes of concentrated dark fruit underpinned by a distinctive mineral salinity from the estate's clay-limestone terroir. On the palate it is medium-bodied with sweet, supple tannins, good intensity, and wonderful length and depth. Wine Enthusiast describes the 2022 as showing "richness and sophistication" and recommends drinking from 2027. Rated 4.2 on Vivino across 69 ratings.
