Haut-Bailly II is the prestigious second wine of Château Haut-Bailly, one of Bordeaux's most celebrated estates in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Originally produced since 1967 under the name "La Parde Haut-Bailly," it was renamed Haut-Bailly II beginning with the 2018 vintage. The 2022 vintage is crafted from grapes grown on the same soils as the Grand Vin, sorted with the same care and vinified with the same expertise as the flagship wine, with 2% Petit Verdot completing the blend.

The 2022 Haut-Bailly II received a score of 92 points from Decanter, praised for its "beautiful fragrance on the nose, so floral and aromatic" character. On the palate it is clean and crystalline, smooth and supple, with creamy blueberry fruit and soft black cherries. Quietly seductive, the wine has the power and concentration of the vintage while maintaining a sleek, straight frame with bite and crunch. Wine Advocate awarded it 90 points.
