Domaine Durup Chablis Vieilles Vignes is a classic French white Burgundy wine produced by Jean Durup Père & Fils, a family-owned estate situated in Maligny at the heart of the Chablis appellation in Burgundy, France. The estate's vineyards extend over beautifully exposed, sloping, and stony hillsides dating back to the 12th century, where 100% Chardonnay grapes are cultivated under the Chablis Appellation d'Origine Protégée. The family has been crafting wine in the region for several centuries, with Jean-Paul Durup joining his father Jean in 1996 to continue the tradition.

The Vieilles Vignes designation—meaning "old vines"—reflects wine sourced from especially mature vineyard parcels, with some vines at Durup dating back to 1905, among the oldest surviving in France following the 19th-century phylloxera epidemic. This vine age contributes remarkable concentration and intensity. The wine shows a pale golden robe with greenish reflections, and a complex nose of minerality, chalk, ripe pear, lemon peel, and flint with subtle hints of fresh hay. The palate is lively and tense, delivering focused citrus acidity balanced by natural juiciness, and finishing with lingering mineral and candied citrus notes characteristic of great Chablis.

At 12.5% alcohol by volume, this wine pairs beautifully with seafood—oysters, salmon tartar, and white fish in beurre blanc are classic matches—as well as goat cheese and other delicate dishes.
