The Discovery Sound U3 is an ultra-compact portable Bluetooth speaker designed for on-the-go use. Measuring just 0.5 inches thin and weighing approximately 105 grams (0.23 lbs), it slips into any pocket or clips easily onto a backpack or belt loop using the included carabiner. The Phoenix color variant features a warm red-orange finish.

The speaker connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.1 or NFC and can magnetically attach to the back of metal-bodied smartphones for hands-free audio amplification. A 40mm full-range driver paired with a dedicated subwoofer delivers 4.2W of dynamic audio output. Two U3 units can be paired in TWS mode, automatically splitting into left and right stereo channels for room-filling surround sound. The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 6 hours of continuous playback and fully recharges in approximately 2 hours. IPX7 waterproofing makes the speaker capable of withstanding rain, splashing, and harsh outdoor conditions. A single physical button controls power, track switching, and Bluetooth pairing, keeping the design minimal and easy to use.
