The name "Oakcross" is shorthand for Oakville Cross Road, the original moniker given to the Groth property when it was first planted, and symbolizes both the estate's central position and the corridor connecting Groth to its valued grower partners.

Introduced with the 2018 vintage, the blend varies each year guided by the growing season and the winemakers' intuition. Depending on vintage, the blend features Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, aged in French oak barrels for approximately 22 months. The wine presents a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe dark berries, plum, violet, and earthy undertones, followed by a rich, structured palate with fine-grained tannins and a long, spiced finish.

The Oakcross has earned consistent critical acclaim, including 94 points from Wine Spectator and 93 points from James Suckling. It pairs beautifully with grilled steak, barbecue, slow-cooked meats, and lamb. This 750ml bottle contains approximately 14.8% ABV.
