The estate vineyard sits within the Mokelumne River sub-appellation of Lodi and is sustainably farmed and certified green under the Lodi Rules program, reflecting the winery's commitment to responsible viticulture.

This wine presents a deep ruby color with a full body. The nose offers aromas of blackberries, lilac, and violet, while on the palate the flavors become richer and more complex, supported by a dry, structured, and yet delicate finish. As a varietal Petit Verdot — one of the classic Bordeaux blending grapes — this bottling showcases the grape's characteristic dark fruit intensity, firm tannin structure, and strong acidic backbone that makes it so prized as a standalone wine from California's warm interior valleys.
