Domaine Durup (Jean Durup Père et Fils) is one of the largest and most respected domaines in Chablis, with vineyards spanning over 180 hectares across the appellation. This Chablis is produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the cool, limestone-rich soils of the Chablis AOC in northern Burgundy, France — the same Kimmeridgian terroir that gives authentic Chablis its signature character.
The wine is unoaked in the traditional Chablis style, fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve the pure fruit expression and mineral integrity of the terroir. It delivers a pale golden color with green highlights, a crisp nose of green apple, lemon zest, and white flowers, and a clean, steely palate with fresh acidity and a characteristic flinty, mineral finish. Alcohol is typically around 12.5% ABV. The wine is sold in cases of 12 x 750ML bottles.
This Chablis pairs exceptionally well with oysters and shellfish, grilled white fish, goat cheese, and light cream-based dishes. It is best enjoyed young and well-chilled at 8–10°C (46–50°F).
