Drizzle was founded by Olympic swimmer Stephen El Gidi, starting as a festival side hustle before expanding to major venues like Six Flags and the State Fair of Texas. In 2023, the brand's Biscoff Delight cheesecake won "Best Taste – Sweet" at the Big Tex Choice Awards. Drizzle opened its first brick-and-mortar location in January 2025 and has since brought its indulgent creations to Costco Roadshow events.
