Alma del Jaguar Añejo Tequila is a 100% blue agave spirit from Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico. Made with just water, agave, and yeast — nothing else — it is bottled unfiltered by hand at the source, entirely free of additives. The tequila is a proprietary blend distilled at NOM 1414, the famed Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados distillery, composed of 80% produced from natural wild yeast and 20% produced from champagne yeast imported from France. At 40% ABV, it represents a refined expression of the highland Jalisco terroir.

Crafted in partnership with the Vivanco family, 5th-generation tequileros, alongside master distiller Sergio Cruz and Adam Fodor, President of the International Tequila Academy. The Añejo expression is aged in oak barrels and gains complexity through a blend of lots matured in both French and American oak. The result is a tequila of notable depth and character reflecting the traditional methods of the Los Altos region.

On the nose, it opens with inviting notes of vanilla, banana, honey, and caramel. The palate delivers flavors of caramel, cooked agave, vanilla, oak, and baking spice, with hints of caramel corn and a touch of chalk and limestone minerality. The finish is long and dry, with lingering vanilla, oak, and cooked agave and subtle hints of smoke.

Alma del Jaguar was founded with an active conservation mission: 10% of every sale is donated directly to the Northern Jaguar Project, which manages the Northern Jaguar Reserve in Sonora, Mexico and works to protect the northernmost population of wild jaguars in the world.
