Mocali Le Raunate Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a single-vineyard wine made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown at approximately 300 meters above sea level on soils of marl and weathered sandstone known as alberese. Only about 6,000 bottles are produced per vintage.

The wine undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak vats, followed by 1 year of aging in 350-liter tonneaux barrels, 2 years in large oak vats, and approximately 5 months of bottle aging before release. It presents a uniform, intense ruby red color with a complex bouquet of morello cherry, violet, roses, mint, fresh citrus fruits, Tyrrhenian herbs, and spices. On the palate it is full and persistent with a savory, marine finish.

Pairs well with goat cheese, wild boar, braised beef, aged cheeses, duck with mushrooms, and Chianina beef.
