Gemstone Vineyard's Facets Chardonnay is a Sonoma Coast white wine crafted by winemaker Julien Fayard, sourcing fruit from select vineyards in the Russian River Valley and Petaluma Gap AVAs — including 35-year-old vines on Goldridge soils from the Green Valley sub-AVA. This is a non-estate offering from the boutique Napa Valley winery established in 1997 in Yountville.

The wine presents a luminous pale lemon color with aromas of preserved lemon, tangerine blossom, freshly sliced honeycrisp apple, and crushed rocks. On the palate it is full-bodied and creamy with pineapple and pear flavors, firm acidity, and a saline, sweet-fruited finish. Notes of butterscotch, toffee, crème brûlée, and honeysuckle emerge from 9 months of aging in 30% new French oak barrels.
