Titus Vineyards Bald Mountain Zinfandel is a single-vineyard red wine sourced entirely from the Bald Mountain Vineyard, situated in the mountain hills off Wall Road in Sonoma Valley. The old vines, which are dry farmed, produce a concentrated and ripe Zinfandel with exceptional aging potential.

The fruit is harvested in late September and destemmed directly to tank, where it undergoes a 14-day maceration through the completion of alcoholic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 12 months in 30% new American oak barrels before bottling. This winemaking approach, overseen by winemaker Stephen Cruzan with vineyard management by Eric Titus, yields a wine of impressive depth and structure.

Expect aromas of bramble berry, dried cherry, Asian five-spice, and cracked pepper, with a rich palate that reflects the concentration typical of old-vine mountain Zinfandel from Sonoma Valley. The wine is well-suited for immediate enjoyment or cellaring for several years.
