This blend is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with splashes of Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine presents an inky ruby color with a saturated core, offering compelling aromas of black cherry, ripe cassis, graphite, iron, and dark cocoa rounded out by oak spice.

On the palate, rich fruit is enveloped in velvety tannins that are ripe but well-restrained, lifted by tension and fresh acidity. Layers of plum preserve, blackcurrant compote, dark chocolate, dusty earth, and cedar lead to a long, polished finish. The wine received 94 points from James Suckling, who praised its tension, finesse, and creamy, refined finish.
