Otafuku Okonomi Sauce is a traditional Japanese condiment used as a topping for okonomiyaki, the savory Japanese pancakes beloved throughout Japan. Made in Hiroshima, Japan since 1950 by Japan's most trusted sauce brand, this soy sauce-based condiment is crafted by blending 20 types of different spices with a variety of fruits and vegetables including dates, apples, carrots, garlic, and shiitake mushrooms. The result is a mellow sweetness and rich, deep flavor that is tangy and aromatic. A descendant of Worcestershire sauce, it is far sweeter and less salty than its British ancestor. Beyond okonomiyaki, it pairs well with sushi, tonkatsu, steak, and other dishes. The sauce is vegan, contains no MSG, and is made without high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors. Product of Japan, 17.6 oz (500g).
