Williams Selyem Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a celebrated appellation-blend Pinot Noir from Sonoma County, California. Sourced from multiple vineyard sites throughout the Russian River Valley AVA, this wine brings together a diverse range of flavor profiles to create a balanced, multi-dimensional expression of the appellation. The nose opens with aromas of spiced cherry compote, red and purple flowers, hints of English Breakfast tea, fried shiitake, sarsaparilla, and fresh fennel. On the palate, waves of juicy acidity balance a firm tannin structure, with flavors of Bing cherry, blackberry, red citrus, salted caramel, and sweet cinnamon. The wine finishes with black tea and bergamot notes. Technically crafted at 13.40% ABV, aged 11 months in 40% new and 60% one-year-old French oak barrels, with a TA of 0.58 g/100mL and pH of 3.51.

The 2022 vintage was shaped by epic drought conditions and an unsettled early season with frost and hail, resulting in wines with excellent structure, site specificity, and notable aging potential. Optimal drinking window is 2025–2032.
