The Vivier Hyde Chardonnay Carneros is a prestigious single-vineyard white wine crafted by winemaker Stéphane Vivier from the renowned Hyde Vineyard in the Carneros appellation of California's North Coast. Stéphane Vivier honed his craft at Hyde de Villaine under the tutelage of Aubert de Villaine, co-owner of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, before launching his own label with a focus on site-expressive, Burgundian-inspired Chardonnay.

The 2022 vintage has earned exceptional critical acclaim, receiving 97 points from James Suckling and 93 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Suckling describes it as "wonderfully rich in flavor, backed by great acidity" and "one of the lightest, most poised wines of any from Hyde." The Wine Advocate notes intense, layered aromas of peach, green herbs, spice, and petrichor, with a perfumed and nuanced palate structured by tangy acidity and a long, elegant finish.

The wine displays flavors of lemon curd, white flowers, citrus honey, and hints of hazelnuts that expand on the palate and linger.
