Outlier Lake County Pinot Noir is a vibrant, terroir-driven California red wine crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the high-elevation vineyards of Lake County's North Coast. The region's volcanic and gravelly alluvial soils, combined with cool nights and warm days, preserve the grape's natural acidity and develop complex aromatics through gentle phenolic ripening.

The wine is hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in open-top fermenters, then aged for seven months in seasoned French oak barrels. The result is a brilliant ruby red wine with complex aromas of chaparral, cherry blossom, rhubarb, cranberry, forest floor, mint, and truffle. On the palate, cherry, boysenberry, blackberry, and Cara Cara orange lead the way, supported by supple dusty tannins and uplifting acidity, with mocha and rose hip notes on the finish. Alcohol by volume is 13.5%.

Wine Enthusiast awarded this wine 94 points, describing it as "rich and lively, with aromas of dark cherry, plum, orange marmalade, dried sage, and notes of potpourri on the nose," with flavors of "black strawberry, raspberry, and blood orange zest, layered with clove, key lime vanilla cream, mineral, and a dry, supple finish." The grapes are organically farmed and the wine is sealed with a natural cork. Each case contains 12 bottles of 750mL.
